Workshop Performance Tour
North Pointe Ballet’s community engagement program has successfully delivered high-quality, professional ballet to community sites since the company’s inception in 2016.
Each live community engagement program includes opportunities for audience participation and features excerpts of full-length ballets performed by fully-costumed professional dancers. Community engagement performances engage members of the community in a theatrical production differently than a traditional theater experience and offer audience members a chance to experience ballet up-close and learn what it means to be a professional dancer. Past tours have included excerpts from The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Peter Pan, The Sleeping Beauty, The Wizard of Oz, and Beauty & the Beast. Each tour offers a unique focus, including pantomime, storytelling, character development, and healthy lifestyles.
