Community Engagement Tour

As NPB’s official Covid-19 statement reads, due to the circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, all of NPB’s 2020 live community engagement tours have been cancelled.

North Pointe Ballet’s community community engagement program has successfully delivered high-quality, professional ballet to community sites since the company’s inception in 2016.

Each live community engagement program includes opportunities for audience participation and features excerpts of full-length ballets performed by fully-costumed professional dancers. Community engagement performances engage members of the community in a theatrical production differently than a traditional theater experience and offer audience members a chance to experience ballet up-close and learn what it means to be a professional dancer. Past tours have included excerpt from The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and The Sleeping Beauty. Each tour offers a unique focus, including pantomime, storytelling, character development, and healthy lifestyles.

NPB’s community engagement programs are specialized in one of three areas:

  1. Pre-K-5 educational workshops and
  2. Senior residential, hospice, or other treatment facility programs, and
  3. Civic family engagement.

Each program is 45-55 minutes in length and can be customized to accommodate schedule and audience needs. Cost for the program is $250. Discounts available for schools and facilities that qualify.
